Cole Haan / $3 / $60?+ NewI've been wearing these shoes almost every day since getting them. Vets 4 Success was having a Spring Cleaning sale, in which EVERYTHING was 50% off. So these shoes, already a bargain at $5.99, were 50% off on top of that.
I tried to research them, but I couldn't find anything resembling this exact pair. However, the patent number for something in the heel was filed in the late 80's, and looked like it had been registered in like 1993 if I'm recalling correctly. So 3 cheers for real 90s vibes!

Pantofola d'Oro / $5.99 / €80-200 NewWhat started as me just dropping off some old clothes to donate ended with me not leaving as empty-handed as I'd hoped. Oh well, these are pretty sweet.
Since getting back from my senior trip to France & Italy, I've been pretty partial to buying post-trip souvenirs. (Like this Dolomite Expedition-inspired coat!) Well... here's another late souvenir from the most beautiful country I've been to. Saw these on the rack and thought they were a pair of Adidas at first, because of the three stripes. Took a closer look and noticed the pretty blatant Italian written all over it. I knew "d'Oro" meant gold, cause high school Spanish. Picked them up and they felt pretty nice. The tread was barely worn, the leather felt real, and I loved the stars and classic/vintage feel of them. Tried them on, they fit perfectly. It seemed kinda weird to have Italian shoes in an Idaho Goodwill, so I figured these were probably pretty cool. Got home and discovered two things. First, the middle star on the left shoe is missing. Oops. (Still would have gotten them if I'd noticed that to begin with.) Secondly, that these are really Italian made, and by a company that is one of my new favorites! (Pantofola d'Oro--look at their other shoes! SO gorgeous!! If I had hundreds of euros to splourge on a single pair, I'd do it!) They only recently started to distribute in the states, and only in a handful of boutiques in bigger cities. These have the US size printed on the bottom of the tongue, so that tells me these probably weren't originally purchased in Italy, but from one of these boutiques. Amazon has a similar pair of these shoes for something like 80 euros, but the company's online store only has a couple shoes priced under 200 euros. So this is definitely a pretty high-quality footwear find! Timberlands / $9.99 / ~$100+ New
Doc Martens / $3.99 / $150+ newI'm a big fan of Doc Martens. A frequent daydream of mine was finding a pair of docs when I'm thrift shopping. Well... that daydream was realized. I want to say they're "vintage" Docs from the 90s, just cause they don't have the same modern cut, but I'm really not sure. They're a very large size 9, and I'm usually a size 10-10.5 so they're pretty snug. But with a pair of thin socks, you won't hear me complaining thanks to the $3.99 price tag! What?!? WHAT? Thanks, Goodwill!
GR by Gordon Rush / $5.98 / $160 NewI love chelsea boots. They're slick, they're stylish, they're versatile, they're easy to put on and take off, and they make me feel like Harry Styles. What more could you want? I'd been wanting a nice pair of black chelsea boots for a while and totally scored these. They're marked as a size 9, but as a size 10-10.5, they fit me perfectly. My guess is someone ordered a size 9 and they were too big, so they just donated them. Works for me! This pair of boots is definitely one of the best finds I've ever had.
Apt. 9 / $8.97 / $80 NewI already had a pair of boots kind of like these ones, but these have a slightly darker color, fit a little comfier, are in better condition, and are just the epitome of a perfect fall boot for guys. Love 'em.
Florsheim / $6.98 / ~$140 NewI love the color and buckle on these guys! They're very handsome boots, great for wearing to church or dressing like I belong in an indie rock band. The bottom layer of the sole is a tiny bit loose, but isn't about to fall off or anything.
Nike / $5.99 / $60+ NewGot very excited when I saw these at Goodwill. They fit in the store, but when I tried them on at home, they were pretty snug. :/ I gave them to my younger brother and now they're his favorite pair of shoes.
BØRNS / $3.99 / $125 NewI like chelsea boots. When I first saw these, I kinda just thought they were another ugly boot on the shoe racks. Then I recognized the little symbol above the heel. I remember seeing other stuff with that symbol being priced pretty high, so I picked them up. They were in my size. I put them on. The inside was super soft, like as close to having a pillow in your shoe as it can possibly get.
The suede is pretty balded in some places, and there's even a tiny hole in one shoe, but these are now my go-to beater boots, great for exploring and looking like a rockstar while doing so. GBX / $7.99 / ~$100 NewThese boots make me want to go on an adventure and join an indie rock band. Love the side zip! Still in great condition.
